The Five Centimes coin is currently the smallest circulating denomination of the Swiss Franc, after the One Centime and Two Centimes denominations were demonetised in 2007 and 1978 respectively. Given that Switzerland has four official languages, the sub-unit of the Franc has four different names; it is centime (c.) in French, Rappen (Rp.) in German, centesimo (ct.) in Italian and rap (rp.) in Romansh. Some English-language catalogues call the coin a “5 Rappen” coin, but the English-language publications of the Swiss National Bank and Swissmint prefer the word “5 centimes”.
Coins of the 5 centime (Rappen) denomination went through several transformations in their history. The first version of the coin was designed by Carl Friedrich Voigt and featured the Swiss Coat of Arms on the obverse. It was made of billon (low-grade silver alloy) and was demonetised in 1886.
In 1879, this second version of the design was released. The obverse was changed to a design by Karl Schwenzer featuring the effigy of Libertas; the metal was then changed to copper-nickel and the coin became slightly heavier. The reverse retained the original design; it shows the value (only a numeral, no text) within a wreath of grape leaves and grapes.
Copper-nickel coins issued for over 100 years until 1980, with the exception of 1918 when it was struck in brass, and the period between 1932 and 1941 when it was struck in nickel). The one-year brass type was demonetised in 1924, and the cupronickel and pure nickel coins on 1st January 1984 when they were replaced by this current aluminium bronze 5 centime (Rappen) coin.
All coins of this type have been struck by Swissmint (previously known as the Bern Mint and the Federal Mint of Switzerland). Coins issued in 1981 have now been in circulation for 41 years.

Administration fees:
Administration fees will be applied on each lot sold on 101bids.com amounts in AED.

500 to 1000 10%.
1000 to 2000 7%
2000 to own words 5%.
You must complete payment and collection of the Lot within 48 hours from the time of auction’s conclusion.
To be sold as is where 101bids.com has no responsibility and you must inspect the lot before bid.

Asset Delivery and Transfer
The buyer must receive the assets anchored in the auction within 3 working days.
Failure to receive the assets will result in the transfer of the assets to 101bids.com with transfer fees and fines incurred for lack of receipt for a maximum period of 7 days.
In the case of non-receipt, the assets will be sold to cover the fees and expenses incurred from the transfer and delay fines.
If you have offers for the products you want to buy, make a bid first then make an offer a little bit higher than your bid.
If you win as per the bidding amount we will consider the bidding amount for your product
If anyone else bids on the same product your offer will be higher than the bidding amount you will be considered as a winner.
